At RootMark Collective, we take pride in offering handcrafted and artisan-made products created with care and authenticity. Since many of our products are handmade, slight variations in texture, finish, size, or color are natural and part of the product’s uniqueness.
Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Eligibility for Returns
We accept return requests only under the following conditions:
- Product received is damaged
- Wrong product delivered
- Product received in defective condition
- Missing items in the package
To be eligible for a return:
- The request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
- Product must be unused and in original packaging
- Unboxing video and clear images may be required as proof
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Handmade or customized products
- Products purchased during sale/discount offers
- Minor color, texture, or finish variations due to handcrafted nature
- Used, damaged, or altered products after delivery
- Gift cards or promotional items (if applicable)
3. Damaged or Incorrect Products
If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Order ID
- Photos/videos of the product
- Unboxing video (mandatory for damage claims)

- Replace the product

4. Refund Process
Once your request is approved:
- Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days
- Refund amount will be credited to the original payment method
- Processing time may vary depending on your bank/payment provider
Payments made through secure gateways such as Razorpay are refunded according to their standard banking timelines.
5. Cancellation Policy
Order Cancellation by Customer
Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.
Once the order is shipped, cancellation requests will not be accepted.
Order Cancellation by RootMark
We reserve the right to cancel orders due to:
- Product unavailability
- Pricing or technical errors
- Suspected fraudulent transactions
- Incomplete customer information
In such cases, a full refund will be initiated.
6. Shipping Charges
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable
- Return shipping costs may be borne by the customer unless the issue is caused by us
- Free shipping promotions (if applicable) are subject to order eligibility
7. Exchange Policy
Exchanges are only applicable for:
- Damaged items
- Defective products
- Wrong item received
Exchange approval is subject to stock availability.
8. Handmade Product Disclaimer
RootMark products are handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans. Due to the handmade process:
- Slight irregularities are natural
- Small variations in finish, texture, polish, or dimensions are not considered defects
- Product colors may slightly vary due to screen settings and photography lighting
These characteristics reflect the authenticity of handcrafted work.
