Seated Deer Pair
A pair of solid brass stags in a calm, seated pose — cast by hand using the Dhokra lost-wax technique.
£50.00
The surface is built through layered wax threadwork, forming a geometric pattern characteristic of Bastar metalcraft. Each piece takes roughly 20–30 hours to complete, spread across multiple stages of casting and finishing.
The tucked legs and upright antlers give the pair a quiet, grounded presence, with the detailing revealing itself more clearly at closer view.
Two individual pieces, sold as a pair.
Works best on a desk, shelf, or side table where the form and surface can be appreciated up close.
