Dhokra Bull Holder Pair
A pair of Dhokra brass bull holders — open lattice bodies that work as sculpture, storage, or both.
£89.00 Original price was: £89.00.£79.00Current price is: £79.00.
A pair of brass bulls with open lattice bodies, each standing on four legs with curved horns and a looped tail — cast by hand using the Dhokra lost-wax technique. The diamond crosshatch weave forms a wide, open bowl that can hold makeup brushes, cotton pads, pens, keys, or jewellery. Leave them empty and they work just as well as sculpture.
Cast through hand-applied wax work and without the use of moulds, each piece carries slight variations in texture and form. The lattice keeps contents visible and easy to reach, while the weight of the brass keeps them steady on any surface.
Works on a desk, dressing table, bedside table, or bathroom counter.
